Lexus GX // Exceptional Things

For the Lexus GX "Secret Entrance" campaign, I served as the Executive Producer and Creative Director, leading the monumental task of transforming raw production footage into a series of "unimaginable," utopic environments. Collaborating closely with legendary director Sebastian Strasser and Academy Award-winning cinematographer Linus Sandgren, my role was to architect a visual language that transcended the physical constraints of the shoot. Whether converting a barren sand dune into a masterpiece of modern concrete architecture or elevating a standard parking structure into a magical, wild world teeming with nature, my focus was on connecting every frame with a sophisticated, art-driven sensibility.

This project was a massive global undertaking, requiring me to manage the creative synergy between Strasser and Sandgren while directing a worldwide team of over 60 VFX artists and specialists. From the initial concept art and pre-production strategy to the final meticulous craft, I oversaw the integration of over 75 CG-heavy shots. This included the creation of hyper-realistic 3D animals, such as the fennec foxes and a majestic panther, as well as the design of iconic architectural landscapes that blended seamlessly with the natural world. By balancing the technical complexity of high-end VFX with an uncompromising creative vision, we transformed the Lexus GX into a gateway of luxury and adventure, proving that even the most common locations can be elevated into a breathtaking, "secret" reality.
My primary focus was to ensure the transformation felt grounded in engineering reality while delivering a visceral, powerful impact on screen. I developed the look of the shifting surfaces, managing the transition of aerodynamic components and structural layers to capture the raw energy of the brand’s F1-to-road technology transfer. By balancing intricate mechanical detail with dynamic, high-speed motion, I helped create a sequence that conveyed both the technical sophistication and the sheer "heartbeat" of the AMG ONE. The final result is a seamless, aggressive visual evolution that serves as the definitive representation of racing performance meeting the street.
