Lincoln Nautilus // Sanctuary of The Senses

For the Lincoln Nautilus "Sanctuary of the Senses" campaign, I served as the Executive Producer and Creative Director, taking full command of the post-production journey to transform a live-action shoot into a visually intriguing, multi-sensory experience. I collaborated with the master of large-format cinematography, Hoyte van Hoytema, whose visceral and immersive camerawork provided the foundational canvas for the film. While Hoyte and director Sebastian Strasser captured the high-end live-action material, the responsibility for supervising and guiding the entire creative evolution in post-production was left entirely in my hands.

My role was to lead the team in elevating Hoyte’s grounded, textured visuals into a series of surreal, sensory-driven environments. We developed over 350 concepts to find the perfect visual metaphors for the intangible—visualizing scent, touch, and sound. From growing a digital forest within a concrete city to re-architecting the 5th Avenue Bridge into a mirrored masterpiece, I managed the delicate bridge between Hoyte’s practical cinematography and a bold, high-concept VFX vision. By directing the team through meticulous R&D and 3D simulations, we achieved an experience that successfully translates the "Sanctuary" philosophy into a breathtaking visual reality.
